H.E. Prof. Rahma Al-Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MOHERI) of the Sultanate of Oman, was visiting France earlier this month. Despite her busy schedule, she was keen to set aside some of her time to meet the Omani students under MOHERI scholarships, who are currently in France under SFERE’s supervision.

Coming from Toulouse, Lyon, Nice, Lille, Limoges, Nancy …, the students were able to share during almost 3 hours their experiences of living and studying in France with H.E., and also to listen to MOHERI’s guidelines for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship, in which they will be called upon to play an important role.

The France program was opened with SFERE in 2017, after 2 years of work with MOHERI on its design and implementation. Since then, it has been constantly evolving, thanks to the permanent dialogue between MOHERI and SFERE, to the caring attention of H.E. and, of course, the very honorable performance of the students in our universities. The next intake will arrive in France at the beginning of November.
