Study in France

France is a top destination for students from around the world who wish to receive high-quality education, discover a rich and diverse culture, and experience a unique journey. Whether they are interested in Sciences, Technology, Business Management, Arts, or Social Sciences, they will find a program that suits them in France, within a stimulating and welcoming environment.

Studying abroad is not always easy; it requires learning a new language, completing administrative procedures, finding accommodation, adapting to a different culture, and more. This is why Sfere has developed support services for international students to help them achieve their academic goals, whether they are coming as part of a scholarship program or through individual mobility with the French EduCare program.

How does SFERE support you in coming to study in France?

Student Guidance

Sfere provides comprehensive support to the students entrusted to it, facilitating their academic and cultural integration upon arrival, and assisting them in academic, administrative, logistical, and personal matters until they obtain their degree.

This includes pre-departure preparation, administrative procedures, housing reservations, insurance subscription, scholarship disbursement, and more. Most importantly, Sfere offers academic guidance and personalized monitoring of students’ academic progress.

Academic, linguistic, and cultural preparation

Our tailored preparation programs for each curriculum offer linguistic immersion with intensive French courses, preparation for the requirements of higher education, and, as needed, academic upgrading and the development of behavioral skills to foster success. They also include cultural activities to discover the country, among other components.

University Guidance and Enrollment

The choice of an academic path can be confusing for a student who is not familiar with France. Our team guides and supports them in selecting programs that best align with their aspirations.

During the preparation phase, a process of academic guidance and placement is initiated with the student. This process includes identifying potential programs, selecting institutions, submitting application files, organizing interviews if necessary, and so on, up to admission and enrollment. Regular reports on this process are provided to the scholarship provider or the student’s family.

Our historical anchoring in the French higher education network, combined with our understanding of admission criteria and academic requirements, provides us with access opportunities to all institutions (universities, engineering schools, etc.) and all degree levels.

Personalized tutoring

Once the student is engaged in their studies, Sfere’s mission takes on particular importance; we continue to support them to facilitate their success, with the objective of preventing failures that could lead to scholarship extensions.

Each student has a dedicated personal advisor within Sfere, known as a Student Relation Officer (SRO), who assists them in case of academic, pedagogical, administrative, or personal difficulties. Additionally, a faculty advisor within the student’s institution, identified by Sfere during the admission process, ensures the smooth progress of their studies and alerts Sfere in case of any issues.

Sfere also organizes Monitorat Meetings on campus or via videoconference to conduct detailed qualitative assessments, which can be shared with the funding organization or the student’s family.

In the event of academic difficulties, we work with the faculty advisor to design a personalized tutoring plan to increase the student’s chances of passing their exams and avoid any scholarship extensions.
